December 30th, 2015 (FB Post Date): You Only Live Twice

Two martinis. Awesome Asian disguise Sean. NOT! I’m so confused about SPECTRE’s budget. They have better space tech than the US and Russia… but in the previous movie they were counting their various income sources in less than 10’s of millions.

Gadgets: Helicopter and exploding cigarettes. Both above average at this point.
Bad Guy: Spectre, #1 (Ernst Blofeld). He’s got a cool cat. He spawned a whole movie series.
Martinis: First we had the classic Bond martini and added in an equal part olive juice to vermouth. Not bad at all. Second we just coated the glass with vermouth, 1/2 oz. olive juice. Also not bad. In retrospect I shouldn’t have tried to push the vermouth coating all the way up to the rim. I think we are about to start trying some of these recipes stirred.
Bond Girl: Kissy Suzuki. This is odd because I liked Aki better. Kissy is a ninja, but her role is limited since she comes in later in the film.
Fav Scene: M liked the poisoning of Aki. I thought the ninja training camp was hilarious.
Sets: Dr. Evil, I mean Ernst Blofeld’s volcano base is awesome. The Pac-Man monster space ship is great.
