December 29th, 2015 (FB Post Date): Thunderball
Our least favorite so far. It’s worth mentioning that even without martinis, it was often hard to follow the plot.
Gadgets: Lots of underwater stuff, bad guys had cool mini subs. A completely unneeded jetpack?
Bad Guy: Spectre, with a plan being run by #2. Meh.
Martinis: None imbibed.
Bond Girl: Domino. Boring, our least favorite so far.
Fav Scene: The underwater finale is great, double bonus for sharks. The final boat fight is hampered by really bad effects.
Sets: The transforming yacht/power boat was keen. The mansion in the intro being smashed up was worth note.
Our current standings: Goldfinger, Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball.
