Way back in 2015 Michelle and I did a series of posts on Facebook in which we watched James Bond movies in chronological order and wrote some silly comments. We also drank martinis and tried to perfect our favorite recipe as the series went on. Fast forward to 2026 and we thought, “Why not revisit those old musings?”

While we are at it we can watch and review the Daniel Craig movies since apparently we didn’t finish this project. By the time we catch up, there just might be a brand new Bond!

M & I started our James Bond marathon. I’m surprised how well this movie holds up!

Gadgets: None.
Bad Guy: Great. He stole 10 million from the Yakuza and used 1 million to build a fish tank. Baller. Cool robo hands.
Martinis: Dirty & Spicy – no vermouth in either. I preferred dirty, M spicy.
Bond Girl: Honey Ryder. “What’s not to like” says M.
Fav Scene: I loved the spider crawling on Bond. M liked the final fight between Bond and Dr. No.
Sets: Dr. No’s compound is amazing in every way. Bond’s bedroom at the beginning of the movie captured the era perfectly.
